Something Too Liberal November 28, 2008

So, it appears that one of our contemporaries is emphasizing the bacon just a little too much. Witness what Liberals do with it:

(CNN) – Paul Volcker, former chairman of Federal Reserve and an economic adviser to President-elect Barack Obama, knows a thing or two about turning out a tasty Thanksgiving turkey.

Volcker shared his tips with CNN on Thursday and said his secrets include port wine and strips of bacon.

Obama mentioned Volcker’s turkey prowess at a news conference Wednesday when the President-elect told reporters that Volcker and fellow Obama economic aide Austan Goolsbee both have “special turkey cooking recipes if anyone needs some advice on how to make the ideal turkey.”

So, to make conservative amends, now Mr. Stew Magoo will be visited by the Ghost of Christmas Emaciated:

Rush is annoying. Ann however, is awesome. I dare anyone to find fault in her logic. You can hate her for being outspoken, but the content is spot on accurate. Except I hear that she’s had her jaw wired shut. Which is causing liberals everywhere to rejoice. Until they realize that she’s just going to write more books. That will be bestsellers. And crucify liberalism.

I love Ann.

Yeah, logic, sure. Here’s her “logic” on her blog dated 11/29/2008:

“I thought the rest of the world was going to love us if we elected B. Hussein Obama! Somebody better tell the Indian Muslims.

“As everyone but President-elect B. Hussein Obama’s base knows, many of the Guantanamo detainees cannot be sent to their home countries, cannot be released and cannot be tried. They need to be held in some form of extra-legal limbo the rest of their lives, sort of like Phil Spector.

“And now Obama’s problem.

“If Obama wants his detention of Islamic terrorists to be dramatically different from Bush’s Guantanamo, my suggestion is that he cut off — so to speak — the expensive prosthetic limb procedures now being granted the detained terrorists. ”

Gotta love that bias!
