(That’s why they invented turtlenecks.)

“Worst: Newscasters expend eons of airtime arguing semantics of the term “shrill”

“After Gov. Sarah Palin stated that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was unable to stand up to John McCain, Reid’s spokesman responded with a statement noting that such “shrill and sarcastic political attacks may fire up the Republican base, but they don’t change the fact that a McCain-Palin administration would mean four more years of failed Bush-Cheney policies.”

“CNN’s Campbell Brown jumped on Reid’s use of the term “shrill” as derogatory against women. An interminable argument over so-called sexist terminology ensued between Brown and various other CNN experts. The talking heads wallowed in the small-picture semantics while resolutely overlooking potential big-picture takes on the momentous Palin proceedings. We’re betting the viewing audience wondered what real analysis they might be missing and changed the channel, leaving the pundits to their terminology tedium.”

(CNN)”

Now that’s spooky! Snavely must have been looking in my window the other night, because that’s just what I did! Brown can get so petty, and so opinionated, for a reporter. Gotta close my shades!
